Alan, a Bloomingdale resident, devotes much time to the inventorying, cataloging, and care of the museum exhibits and the physical plant, the 1888 railroad station. Alan joined the Museum in the 1980's and has worked diligently to preserve the history of Butler and the surrounding area. Alan was successful in having the train station put on the State and National Registers of Historic Places.
